My name is Gabriel Pollard and I live in New Zealand. I am a 17-year-old male and I add content to Wikipedia (My Wikipedia talk page) and Wikinews which interests me. I am the reason for the controversy surrounding Wikinews and the amount of New Zealand articles. The articles I do write can mostly be found on the Wikinews New Zealand portal so keep a eye out for them. And please remember that when you are awake, I am asleep cause you are behind in the timesĀ ;).
On the September 23, 2007 edition of Sunday – a magazine found in the Sunday Star Times – I was featured among five others. This article was regarding what I did in the holidays; I talked about Wikinews, Wikipedia, photography, etc.
I now blog at Gabriel Pollard’s blog about the Internet and various things about it.
It is possible to find me on the Wikinews IRC channel under the name Nzgabriel.
As of 31 August, 2006 I am an administrator. I also survived a self-request for reconfirmation ending on June 19.
I have been approved. Check it out here: Gabriel Pollard credential verification
